Cheap Flights to Cape Town, South Africa. Cape Town is the second most populous city in South Africa, forming part of the metropolitan municipality of the City of Cape Town. It is the provincial capital of the Western Cape, as well as the legislative capital of South Africa, where the National Parliament and many government offices are located.

Cape Town is famous for its harbour as well as its natural setting in the Cape floral kingdom, including such well-known landmarks as Table Mountain and Cape Point. Cape Town is one of the most popular South African destinations for tourism.
Cape Town was originally developed as a victualling (supply) station for Dutch ships sailing to Eastern Africa, India, and the Far East more than 200 years before the construction of the Suez Canal in 1869. Jan van Riebeecks arrival on 6 April 1652 established the first permanent European settlement in South Africa. Cape Town quickly outgrew its original purpose as the first European outpost at the Castle of Good Hope. It was the largest city in South Africa until the growth of Johannesburg.

History of Accra City
Accra is the capital and largest city of Ghana, with an estimated urban population of 2.269 million as of 2012. It is also the capital of the Greater Accra Region and of the Accra Metropolitan District, with which it is coterminous. Accra is furthermore the anchor of a larger metropolitan area, the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (GAMA), which is inhabited by about 4 million people, making it the second largest metropolitan conglomeration in Ghana by population, and the eleventh-largest metropolitan area in Africa.

Accra stretches along the Ghanaian Atlantic coast and extends north into Ghana's interior. Originally built around a port, it served as the capital of the British Gold Coast between 1877 and 1957. Once merely a 19th-century suburb of Victoriaborg, Accra has since transitioned into a modern metropolis; the city's architecture reflects this history, ranging from 19th-century architecture buildings to modern skyscrapers and apartment blocks.

Accra serves as the Greater Accra region's economic and administrative hub. It is furthermore a centre of a wide range of nightclubs, restaurants and hotels. Since the early 1990s, a number of new buildings have been built, including the multi-storey French-owned Novotel hotel. The city's National Theatre was built with Chinese assistance. In 2010, the GaWC designated Accra a Gamma-minus-level world city, indicating a growing level of international influence and connectedness.

The central business district of Accra contains the city's main banks and department stores, and an area known as the Ministries, where Ghana's government administration is concentrated. Economic activities in Accra include the financial and agricultural sectors, Atlantic fishing, and the manufacture of processed food, lumber, plywood, textiles, clothing and chemicals.

Best Day to Buy Cheap Flight Tickets Online

Is there a specific day when airline fares are the cheapest?

www.cheap-flight-4u.com
Cheap-Flight-4u
Airlines often announce deals on Monday evenings. By Tuesday at noon, other airlines are scrambling to match those deals. So many people think that Tuesday afternoons are the best time to hunt for reduced airfare.

Texas A&M University, however, crunched the numbers and found that weekends are actually the best time to book airline cheap flight tickets. That's because airlines are more likely to lower their fares on Saturday and Sunday to attract leisure travelers. The study found that cheap flight tickets purchased on the weekend were historically an average of 5% cheaper than similar cheap flight tickets purchased during the week.

Of course, that was only to places with mixed business and leisure settings. Leisure-only destinations, like Las Vegas, do not change much through the week. So, what should you do? If you see one airline offering a deal on Monday, make plans to buy your cheap flight tickets on Tuesday. If there are no deals going on, buy on the weekend.

Spirit Airline Starts Launches Cheap Flights out of KCI Today

Cheap Flights for You Booking Page
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A new airline lands at KCI for the first time in two years. Spirit Airline takes off today at a cheap to travelers, but do you really save any money?

Spirit Airline launches a no frills flying experience, where you have the option to add luxuries offered with other airlines at a cheap cost. Everything from checked baggage to overhead storage will cost you extra.

While the initial price is significantly cheaper, once you factor in the extra costs, the price nudges closer to that of Southwest, but still a far cry from airlines like American. Spirit Airlines Director of Public Affairs Paul Berry says Spirit is not for everyone.

"If you are use to flying with an oversized carry on that you really probably should be checking and if you do not pay for it online, you do not pay for it at check-in, we are gonna force you check it, and we are going to charge you $100. That is designed to change behavior for people not to bring on oversized bags into the carry on area," said Berry.

The Florida based company's first official cheap flight from Kansas City will head to Chicago this afternoon.

Spirit Airlines Debuts at Kansas City, Launches Five New Routes

www.cheap-flight-4u.com
Cheap Flights for You Booking Page
Spirit Airlines made its debut at Missouri's Kansas City International Airport on Thursday, launching nonstop service of cheap-flight-4u on five routes. The self-described "ultra Cheap flight" is now flying from Kansas City to Chicago O'Hare, Dallas, Detroit, Houston and Las Vegas.

"Spirit Airlines' decision to add Kansas City to its rapidly expanding network is a testament to the strength of this region," Mark VanLoh, Director of Aviation for the Kansas City Aviation Department, says in a statement.  For Spirit, Kansas City will be its first new destination since it unveiled a brand overhaul in May that the airline hopes will help it win fliers over to its no-frills, fee-heavy business model. Charging for everything from water to carry-on bags, Spirit and its cheap-flight-4u seats have been a lightning rod for customer complaints.

Spirit thinks that if customers know what they're getting up front a cheap fare flights with no additional "perks" – then they'll be less likely to be dissatisfied with the Spirit's level of service. And that's the message Spirit was delivering to the Kansas City media ahead of its launch.

"We put two inches less than other airlines in seat room so we can put more seats on the cheap-flight-4u plane," Spirit spokesman Paul Berry says to Kansas City's Fox 4 News. "It's the car pool effect. When more people fly, they are splitting the cost of gasoline amongst them and that way, they keep their fares low. It's a tradeoff. You give up some of the creature comforts of space in exchange for a 50% less fare."

The Kansas City Star in an article that asks "Will Kansas City embrace Spirit Airlines' Bare Fare?" suggests Kansas City could offer clues to how the traveling public is responding to Spirit's rebranding efforts. "Our planes are always full," Berry says to the Star. "The people who really love us, they get us.

"The people who haven't quite gotten us, who have expressed some hate because of their experience, we feel it's a time to help educate them on who we are," he adds, referring to the new branding initiative.

Cheap Flights 4u Boosted the Last Minute Holidays

www.cheap-flight-4u.com
Cheap-Flight-4u
Many people become envious of their friends who have already booked their holiday abroad and are now on the final countdown of holiday shopping, holiday packing and getting to the airport for fly.

All is not lost though for those who think they are going to be left behind, dreading that postcard or Facebook post that says 'Wish you were here'.

Last minute holidays used to be the bread and butter of those who were good at saving a pound or two. On the beach they did brag to new acquaintances about how they'd got their five star all inclusive hotel, booked only last night, for only a hundred quid each, watching those who'd paid thousands for the same holiday seethe away. But then everything changed. Tour operators cut back on their stock meaning no last minute cheap deals and in many cases no last minute holidays at all. Whilst times have changed, with a little bit of effort it's still possible to get a last minute break at a very reasonable cost, thanks in the main to the cheap flights.

A quick scour of price comparison sites shows that Scandinavia, Northern European countries, Ireland and Spain can all be reached for under £50 return and, depending on dates, it's possible to fly to Dublin for £20.

Car hire can cost as little as £7 a day in Spain, even in August, whilst if you're not fussy about accommodation, clean, cheap and cheerful hostels come in at around £15 a night in many of the countries. Add it all up and you'll find you can get a week in Spain for around £120 including car hire proving that the last minute cheap holiday isn't dead yet.

'Car hire and accommodation can be two of the more expensive parts of a holiday. Whilst we work hard to give you the lowest possible prices on car hire at each of the hundreds of destinations we serve, it's worth looking at a variety of destinations to compare price. Whilst Spanish cheap flights can be got for £50, car hire is only £7 a day, Dublin cheap flights are much cheaper still but car hire can be three to four times that of Spain. The best value deal will involve a combination of the prices for each element of the holiday and it can be a fun challenge finding it.'

Cheap Flight Air Fare Coming to Tupelo Airport

www.cheap-flight-4u.com
cheap-flight-4u
Tupelo Airport - Tamara Patterson says "goodbye to her girls who are bound for Austin, Texas". She would like to use the Tupelo Regional Airport more often. Cheap flight tickets would seal the deal. She said "It is really exciting because we do not fly much because it costs so much-especially with a large family,". When you say $50 tickets one-way to Memphis and $60 tickets to Nashville, that gets attention.

It is the goal for Air Choice One CEO Shane Storz who has more in mind than cheap flight tickets. He wants air travelers to like the Tupelo Regional Airport again. Storz says it is necessary that any air carrier have a presence in the community. He says combine that with personal service and cheap flight tickets and that's how to gain consumer confidence. Storz wants to restore confidence after a series of failed attempts by other carriers. He believes 30 round trip cheap flights a week with a first-class feel and eight roomy seats will attract customers. "Most carriers as you have seen in the past are legacies that really do not have the participation that the community is gonna see with Air Choice One".

That gets the attention of Jim Newman who will be among those to recommend the next air carrier to the city of Tupelo. He is chairman of the Tupelo Airport Aviation Committee. Jim Newman says "They are going back to the old model and the old model worked. You gotta knock on doors and look at people face-to-face".

Civil Aviation Authority hopes foreign airlines will resume Peshawar cheap flights

www.cheap-flight-4u.com
cheap-flight-4u
Civil Aviation Authority Manager (Public Relations) Abid Kaimkhani told that foreign airlines, which had temporarily stopped  cheap flights for Peshawar, would decide about resumption of cheap flights shortly.

Foreign Airliners will make a decision on July 1 and we are waiting for it. We hope they’ll resume cheap flights for Peshawar very soon,” he said.

Kaimkhani said a few airlines had diverted cheap flights from Peshawar to Islamabad after attack on a commercial flight in Peshawar lately and security had been improved at vulnerable points at and around the city’s Bacha Khan International Airport since then.

Official says security enhanced around the airport
Three big foreign airlines, including Emirates, Qatar Airways and Ittehad, have suspended cheap flights for Peshawar in the wake of a gun attack on Pakistan International Airlines’ Airbus A-310 during landing at the Peshawar airport on Tuesday night.

The cheap flight with 196 passengers and 10 crew members on board was coming from Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) when it was fired upon on the city’s outskirts, leaving one woman passenger dead and two stewards injured.

Official said Saudi Airlines had cancelled one cheap flight for Peshawar before diverting it to Islamabad on Saturday citing ‘operational reasons. “Saudi Airlines did not give specific reasons for diverting cheap flight to Islamabad,”.

Official said about 300 passengers were transported to Islamabad by road in the day. He said Air Arabia and Gulf Air were operating to and from Peshawar, while the operations of four domestic airlines, including those of PIA, continued.

Concerned officials  said law-enforcement agencies had begun survey in the areas adjacent to tribal areas and were maintaining profiles of those living there.  Human intelligence had been strengthened, while the number of police and Frontier Constabulary had been increased. The police have arrested about 300 people after attack on the plane.  They said a proposal was under consideration to change the timing of cheap flight arrival for foreign airlines from night to day. Proposal had been discussed with the airlines operating cheap flights for Peshawar.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority officials, despite lack of space and other facilities, the Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar is one of the country’s busiest airports with around 1.4 million people landing and departing from there annually. Only Emirates Airlines had operated five flights a week from there before attack on the PIA aircraft. 90% of the passengers were laborers traveling between Peshawar and the Middle East and other regions. Despite several shortcomings and lack of facilities, foreign airlines could not ignore Peshawar because it had huge potential. “The number of people landing in and flying from Peshawar can increase if facilities, including loading, unloading and parking, are expanded.

World’s four top airlines had operations in Peshawar and that two more would begin service in near future. Suspension of cheap flights by foreign airlines for Peshawar has adversely affected businesses directly or indirectly associated with the aviation sector. Taxi stands outside the airport wear deserted look.

Border Patrol Reschedules Cheap Flights Central American Rio Grande Valley to Southern California and Two Texas Border Cities

http://www.cheap-flight-4u.com/
cheap-flight-4u
The Border Patrol announced that its plans to fly Central American migrants from the Rio Grande Valley to Southern California and two Texas border cities to help relieve what President Barack Obama has called a humanitarian crisis. Customs and Border Protection said in a statement that the agency plans to transport adults and children from the Rio Grande Valley to Laredo and El Paso in Texas and San Diego and El Centro in Southern California.

Announcement comes less than a week after the agency canceled the California cheap flights. Officials released no further details. It is not known when the cheap flights would begin nor how many migrants would be transported to the state. Paul Beeson, chief of the Border Patrol's San Diego sector, told The Associated Press a week ago that the plan at that time called for two cheap flights with 140 passengers each. They were expected to continue every three days, carrying mostly families with children and students. Thousands of Central American families and unaccompanied children have been coming to the United State in recent months as they flee violence, murders and extortion from criminal gangs in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. Many of them are under the impression that they will receive leniency from U.S. Authorities once they get here. Once the migrants are processed, Immigration and Customs Enforcement decides who can be released while awaiting deportation proceedings. 52,000 children have been detained since October. The vast majority have been caught in Texas' Rio Grande Valley. Because officials had run out of room at facilities there, they began releasing immigrant families and requiring them to report back within 15 days. Later, officials flew hundreds to Arizona for processing. Several new detention centers are expected to open to deal with the influx.

News of detention centers opening in communities has stirred up fear and anger among residents who worry the immigrants will bring in new illnesses, tax local resources, escape and spike crime rates. Senior U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement official during a media tour Thursday of a new facility in New Mexico told The Associated Press that authorities there aim to deport the immigrants within 10 to 15 days to send a message back to their home countries that there are consequences for illegal immigration for study abroad. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not allowed to talk publicly, citing agency policy.  At the facility, women found crossing with children also will not be released, but held and quickly processed, a step toward returning the department to its policy before the crisis.

Experts say missing cheap flight 370 was on Autopilot

www.cheap-flight-4u.com/
cheap-flight-4u
Malaysian Airlines cheap flight 370 indicate the plane was flying on autopilot when it disappeared.

USA TODAY reports the search for the missing jet will now move to the southern Indian Ocean off the coast of western Australia and will span an area of 23,200-square miles. The cheap flight from Malaysia's capital Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8 carried 239 passengers and crew, including 153 Chinese citizens. So why has no debris surfaced even months later?

NEWS Aviation Expert Greg Feith does not often speculate on plane crashes but posted his thoughts on the new developments to his Facebook page Thursday morning. "Current information released by the Malaysians appears to be in concert with the search area I had discussed 3 months ago - I believe it is 1250 to 1500 miles further west and south of the area that they searched near Australia.

Many people have asked me my thoughts about whether the cheap flight crashed or was ditched in the ocean. I don't typically speculate on accidents and usually discuss an accident scenario based on the factual info I have. However MH370 is uniquely different.  I discussed a scenario several month ago that I believed the flight management system/autopilot was used to fly the airplane to a way point over the Indian Ocean; and the autopilot would then perform a minimum airspeed and minimum descent rate profile until the cheap flight impacted the water. This controlled descent at a slow airspeed would minimize the breakup of the fuselage and other structure, which in turn would minimize the amount of floating debris. Also the fuselage would sink as a complete unit and again the floating debris would be minimized.

Think of it as a landing like the Miracle on the Hudson whereby there was no aircraft breakup. The difference is because the pilot would not be able to gauge the height above the ocean (since it was likely dark), the autopilot was used to perform a slow, controlled descent to water contact. The pilot of cheap flight would not have to be conscious or even alive for the airplane to fly the profile once it was programmed into to FMC and executed.

This controlled ditch or collision with the water may also explain why there has been no trace of Amelia Earhart's airplane - minimal impact damage thus no floating debris to wash up on a beach!

Investigator intuition is not a substitution for having the actual data but in this case the investigators need to think like a person who wants to make a cheap flight (Boeing 777) disappear, they need to look at the available info and use some logic to identify the best search area rather than calculated with data, the search area."

Hoardings near airport threaten to ground Mumbai's only non-stop cheap flight to US

www.cheap-flight-4u.com/
cheap-flight-4u to USA
Mumbai may lose its only non-stop cheap flight to United State for the silliest reason: billboards near the airport. Air India has complained to aviation and Maharashtra authorities that it is forced to carry only 260 passengers in the Boeing 777 deployed on the Mumbai-Newark sector. The reason: billboards near the airport come in the path of the aircraft, forcing it to fly light to allow it take off in a way that it can steer clear of this hurdle.

T.O.I. had reported on May 1 but it have come to such a pass now that Air India is threatening to cancel this cheap flight the only non-stop US connection from Mumbai  unless these hurdles go. "There used to be five billboards. Four were removed after we complained as but there is reportedly a court case involving the fifth one. Now, two billboards have reappeared, putting such a severe load penalty that we are forced to carry 80 seats empty," said a top Air India official.

Airline has complained to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, terming these billboards a "serious safety risk". "We have repeatedly taken this issue up with the Mumbai civic authorities. We are now planning to write to the state government. If nothing works, this flight will have to be scrapped," said the official.

Air India's Mumbai Newark flight is the longest non-stop cheap flight out of Mumbai as well as the longest cheap-flight-4u of the airline overall. The aircraft goes almost fully loaded with fuel for the nearly 16 hour journey. When a fully loaded Boeing 777-300, takes off, especially in summer, the lift-off happens relatively slowly compared to lighter planes. The billboards have undone what the B-777 300 ER did for Air India Earlier, the airline operated the fuel-guzzling B-777 200 Long Range version on this route. But this plane used up so much fuel that the cheap flight never made money. Air Iinda decided to sell off its 200 LR versions of the Boeing 777. It then deployed the thriftier 300 ER on the route.

cheap flight disruptions - air traffic controllers go on strike

www.cheap-flight-4u.com/
cheap-flight-4u
Airlines are scrambling on French air traffic controllers' strike - which is causing delays to Aer Lingus cheap-flight-4u and grounding over 196 Ryanair flights across Europe.

Aer Lingus has said it is experiencing lengthy delays on  cheap flights to France, Spain, Portugal, and the Canary Islands. These make up about 20 of its cheap flights. Passengers to these destinations can expect delays of up to three hours today, a spokeswoman said.  Ryanair has said the disruptions caused by the French air traffic controllers strike are causing "severe disruptions" for its customers. "air traffic controllers delays of up to six hours are now being allocated to Ryanair cheap flights operating from France, and also cheap-flight-4u flying over France."

"We expect that these delays will continue to build through the afternoon as the backlog of delayed cheap flights rises. In order to minimize disruptions on the rest of our network Ryanair has been forced regrettably to cancel a total of 196 cheap flights which is approximately 10% of Ryanair’s total schedule of over 1,600 cheap flights today."

The airline added:"We expect the disruption to flights from France and Spain will continue this afternoon as all airlines schedules are heavily disrupted by this unnecessary and regrettable French air traffic controllers strike."

The airline's statement added: "Ryanair apologises sincerely for any delays or inconvenience caused to our customers by this French air traffic controllers strike."  The six-day strike action, called by French airline trade unions, has been timed ahead of a June 30 deadline for France to present its aviation budget plans to European officials.  The tighter budgets are part of a European Commission plan, called Single Sky Europe, to cut air navigation costs. A similar walkout in 2013 led to some 1,800 cheap flights being cancelled a day across Europe.

Ryanair urged the French government and the EU to intervene to prevent further cancellations and delays in cheap flights.

Long flights burning more fuel - climate impact

British scientists have suggested that the world's airlines could cut their climate impact.

The seemingly-paradoxical claim is based on a calculation of the climate impact of contrails on the world's climate. The researchers suggest that rather than simply calculating the cheapest route based on distance and fuel, cheap flights could change routes to avoid the weather conditions that lead to increased contrails.

It's an important trade-off for cheap flights, since the more they can demonstrate mitigation of their climate impact, the less money they'll be asked to outlay on offsets. Contrails short for condensation trails form in cold, moist air, and are caused either by the condensation of water vapour in the engine exhaust, or by the turbulence at wingtips causing water vapour in the air to condense.
http://www.cheap-flight-4u.com/UK/
Cheap Flight to UK

As they spread out to wispy clouds, contrails have a measurable radiative forcing impact on the climate. Although they reflect some of the sun's energy outwards, they trap more infrared energy that would otherwise be emitted by Earth, resulting in a small net increase in warming.

The question for scientists is how to balance contrail-driven warming with that caused by burning dinosaurs to keep the plane in the air, and whether the two can be traded off for a net benefit.

The University of Reading researchers, writing in Environmental Research Letters, believe they've come up with a framework that lets this trade-off be calculated so that aircraft can fly around the “ice-supersaturated regions” (ISSRs) where contrails form, without increasing their flight path so much that the extra fuel burn outweighs the reduced contrail formation.

The scientists, led by Reading's Dr Emma Irvine, also believe the route-around approach could be more efficient than trying to avoid contrails formation by changing altitude (which takes extra fuel two ways: on the climb, and by cruising at a sub-optimal altitude). As explained by Eco-Business: “With a small aircraft that is predicted to form a contrail 20 miles long, an alternative route would have a smaller climate impact if it adds less than 200 miles to its journey. For larger aircraft, the alternative route could still be preferable, but only if it added less than 60 miles to the journey.”

The complexity of the trade-off, Dr Irvine explained, this is a non-trivial calculation: while contrails can last for hours, CO 2 lasts decades. And, of course, building variations to routes into cheap flight plans is non-trivial from other viewpoints: it would need weather forecasting accurate enough to predict contrail-likely conditions, and enough flexibility in air traffic control to deal with changes to cheap flight plans.

There is, at least, this: if cheap flights were to generate fewer contrails, a tiny bit of steam would be taken out of “chemtrail” conspiracies. That can't be a bad thing.

United State suspends Cheap flight at Florida air base due to fire

The United State Air Force on Monday temporarily halted flights at a Florida air base of 26 F-35A fighter jets after a jet caught fire as it was preparing to take off for a training flight, a Pentagon spokesman said.

The pilot aborted the takeoff and was not injured, the spokesman for the Pentagon's F-35 program office said. He had no immediate details on the cause of the fire or extent of the damage to the F-35 conventional takeoff model.

The fire occurred in the plane where the engine is located, but it was unclear whether the engine was involved.

Introduction of New Cheap Airlines - Wonders for Passengers.

www.cheap-flight-4u.com/
cheap-flight-4u
It's amazing global aviation scene has changed over the years. Big airlines have lost their way and famous names vanished without trace while brash newcomers have soared and the once-derided cheap airlines gained respect.

When I first flew internationally about 40 years ago, my most favorite airlines were Pan American, Qantas and British Airways. Now Pan American has gone and I do my best to have nothing to do with Qantas, British Airways or any American airline at all. These days my favorites are Air New Zeeland, the Asian marvels Singapore and Cathay Pacific, and the extraordinary Middle Eastern newcomers Emirates and Etihad. And I'm increasingly impressed with the performance of the new cheap airlines.

During a trip to Europe this year we chose to fly with EasyJet and Ryanair and found them not only incredibly cheap but also extremely efficient. Even Ryanair, which has a rather mixed reputation, provided a vastly better experience than the last time I made the mistake of choosing British Airwary for European flights.

Similarly, for our latest visit to Australia to see the grandchildren we opted to get across the Tasman with Air New Zealand, which has basically adopted the no-frills model for its short-haul flights, and its low-cost partner Virgin Australia.  Again, not only were the fares considerably cheaper than anything I could find on the Qantas website, the experience was much more pleasant than the last time I suffered under the flying kangaroo.

For our next big trip, an Arctic cruise, we're thinking seriously about flying with China Southern Airlines, which offers cheap fares, the chance of a stopover in Guangzhou and - according to several experienced travellers we've talked to - perfectly good service. It all goes to confirm, for me, what a wonderful thing competition is. Once upon a time on most routes there was little if any choice. Now every carrier knows that if it doesn't perform its customers can and will go elsewhere. When Air New Zealand had a monopoly on domestic routes the service was shoddy and expensive. Now, thanks to the arrival of competition, it is a superb airline.

Similarly, in past we visited the grandchildren in Queensland, Qantas was the only airline flying to their town, allowing it to charge horrendous fares and get away with truly awful service. Now we have got the option of flying with cheap fares and great service.

Air India Offering Cheap Flight Tickets on Busy Routes

www.cheap-flight-4u.com/
Cheap-Flight-4u
India's four budget carriers wage fare wars to gain shares in the market, Air India has been quietly undercutting them with lowest ticket prices on busy routes. It is selling cheap flight tickets even closer to the travel date, indicating it is desperately trying to fill empty flights. For instance, the airline is selling flights to Bangalore-Goa on June 24 as low as 2,059 while AirAsia is selling it at 4,840. The route became popular after AirAsia India started its maiden flight on the Bangalore-Goa route last week. Ahmedabad-Mumbai sector, Air India is offering fares as low as 3,559 early next week while the low fare carriers are offering tickets between 5,300 and 5,900.
The obvious reason is unsold inventory, said Sharat Dhall. Airlines typically sell cheaper seats on later travel dates and jack up fares closer to the travel dates as more of their seats get sold. Airlines having a number of unsold seats close to the date of flying would rather sell them cheap than let them fly empty. Experts said Air India may have been caught in the wrong end of aggressive fare wars that started early this year. Low-fare carrier SpiceJet has been starting most of them, starting a chain reaction across the industry. Market leader IndiGo has on most instances got the best advantage of these wars. It offers higher capacity than its rivals which means, passengers board its flights more than they do others' whenever there is a discount offered. Its on-time performance, although recently beaten by SpiceJet, still ensures robust passenger volumes on its flights. "Last minute fares are a function of the required yield and seat factor. Peak hour flights will invariably have high seat factors and hence high last minute fares. Only in cases where unsold inventories are high, perhaps due to low customer preference, will the last minute fares be low," says Amber Dubey, Partner and India Head of Aerospace and Defense at global consultancy KPMG. What could be bad news for low-fare carriers is that even for early bookings, which is the space where price wars play out between low-cost carriers, Air India is offering the lowest fares on many routes. For example on a Bangalore-Goa flight for July 24, Air India is selling tickets at 2,059, close to 400 lower than SpiceJet. IndiGo's lowest fare on the route is 2,740.

While it gives more option to fly cheaper, Air India's cheap fares may have negative impact on its performance. The airline provides amenities such as food, in turn meaning it runs costlier operations than its rivals. The carrier has been bleeding losses since 2007 and surviving primarily on cash handouts from the government. But its finances have lately shown signs of some revival. The airline earned 44 crore in passenger revenue in May, up 16% on year. Air India carried about 47,700 passengers in the month versus 45,230 a year earlier and its load factors improved to 80% from 73%.

Factors of Airlines Tickets Prices Up Down

www.cheap-flight-4u.com/
Cheap Flight 4u
Due to competition in aviation, the prices of tickets fluctuate. In international trips, it is unpredictable. Because of this the price of tickets on such long trips is contributed by a number of factors that keep on changing from time to time. Global airlines have to keep in mind a number of factors when they are tagging their tickets for several destinations. The final price of tickets is determined after a number of permutation and combination of these factors.

New Airline
New airline is one of the most crucial factors when it comes to aviation. Unlike a number of industries, it involves a huge capital investment and permissions. Most of the money involved are from huge loans and the company stays in pressure to make profit in the first five years of operation, so that it is able to repay the loans. The revenues are directly proportional to the number of travellers that take their flights. For example, American Airlines booking directly throws light on the income of the carrier. Whether the people will book tickets on its flights is not known at the time when it starts operating. Thus, setting up an airline is considered quite risky.

Seeking Permission/Canctions
Getting permission and sanctions from the governments is also a matter, which involves a lot of money and influence. The airline has to seek permission from the concerned authority of that nation about getting allowance to operate its flights within its boundaries. More the number of operating nations, tougher and more time consuming it is to get the permissions. If the carrier is planning to start an international service, it has to pass the safety standards of the countries it looks forward to operate. Even if the carrier is looking forward to initiate domestic services only, it has to get a go-ahead from the government. It takes a significant amount of time and money just to get a green signal to start operations.

Establishment
The cost of aircraft  involves hundreds of dollars and procuring them takes years. If a carrier plans to start its services in a particular year, it has to place an order at least five years prior to that. It can afford to order aircraft of one type if it is only operating in the domestic sector. However, when it plans to start international services, it has to order aircraft of several types depending on the duration of the journey. This involves a hefty sum of money and the airline has to spend it even before the start of its operations.

All these factors contribute to the actual price of tickets. Even if travellers are booking cheap last minute flights, they have to pay that amount so the airline breaks even with the costs incurred. There have been several instances where the carrier had to stop services because it could not manage to get rid of the initial loans. This is why, not always, it is possible to offer the cheapest options for flying.

Tips for Finding Cheap Airfares

www.cheap-flight-4u.com/
Cheap Flight 4u
There is a growing demand for Cheap Airfares. However, budget trips are not possible if a person has to pay too much for their airfare. Unless you know exactly where to look, flying affordably can be a major hassle.

For the majority of airlines, their drive is to get passengers paying more, which is contrary to what consumers want. However, you need to understand that on a single airplane, it is not uncommon to find dozen pricing categories, while on a 150-seat flight there are 50 different pricing options. Therefore, it is important to know how you can go about getting cheaper airfares.

Check Budget Airlines Individually
Checking for low-cost airlines individually can get you competitive rates. This is because comparison sites do not offer rates for all companies. Some low-budget airlines do not allow their fares to be quoted on leading comparison websites. Therefore, it is advisable to check their fares separately. However, do your research and make sure the low cost airlines do not have extra costs that end up driving the cost upwards, such as high luggage charges.

Book About Six Weeks in Advance
Airlines make great deals available most of the times. Therefore, it is advisable to be on the lookout for such opportunities by shopping around and keeping track of the available deals. According to research studies, passengers get the cheapest fares when they book 42 days in advance. Buying your ticket six weeks in advance, can save you up to 6% of the average fares.

Shop for Morning Deals
Cheap flights are common very early in the morning, which means you have to be up by 4am. The next cheapest flights are available during or after lunch-hour or at dinner-hour. However, the cheapest times to fly are on limited routes.

Check Cheap Flight  Tickets  at Night
Most airlines post limited numbers of seats at reduced prices at night. Therefore, it is advisable to check the fares early enough and make your booking right away because those tickets are likely to sell off by midday.

Check Discounted Tickets in the Afternoon
Few airline companies chagne the fare without any specific time or day to buy. It is releasing their discounted tickets in the afternoon, which is good particularly if you have to travel with short notice.

Sign up for alerts
Signing up for alerts with airline companies or an independent online booking site, enables you to receive airline alerts for free. This will help you know when attractive deals are available in the market.

Getting Cheap Airfare of Best Domestic and International Flight

http://www.cheap-flight-4u.com/UK/flights-to-London.html
Cheap Flight 4u London
Travelling on short journeys, long trips or study trips, getting cheap airfare is the primary concern for traveller. Reducing the travel expenses during domestic as well as international trips remains the most important in air travelling. However, there is no such specific process to get the cheap airfare during flights. Following a number of factors during air ticket booking can allow travellers to get a cheaper flight fare. It is better to keep in mind that all these factors hold good only under circumstances and varies on the date, place and time of travel.

Time of Booking
The first step towards getting more cheap airfare during a flight journey is to decide on the best time to buy the tickets. It is better to gauge the time of travel well in advance. For example, if the travel period is during the peak season, tickets should be booked well in advance. On the other hand, if the flight is during the lean season, reservations can be delayed till the best rates are obtained. However, if the trip plans are chalked out well in advance, it is better to make the reservations almost around three weeks prior to the date of the journey.

Search Engines and their Contribution
One thing should always be kept in mind before looking for travel options on flights. Search engines are the best ways to look out for the cheapest airfare, contrary to the opinion of most people. Primarily, there are two techniques to look for travel options by airlines. The first one is the more laborious and time consuming where travellers have to manually search portals of various carriers to find relevant information regarding flights. Instead of opting for this technique, it is better to trust search engines, which consolidate all relevant information regarding domestic and international flight fare in a single web page . On one hand, this way of looking for several options is less time consuming; while on the other, it allows fliers to opt for the best rates as comparing options is easier.

Make Combined Transactions
Making the right choice of airline is a crucial factor when it comes to getting the best rates. When the trip is a short-haul one, it is better to trust the low-cost carriers (LCCs), as they offer the best rates for journeys spanning for less than five hours. However, they cut down on the luxuries during the trip, which can be tolerated for a short trip. However, when going for long trips, it is better to go for comfort irrespective of the cost of tickets. This is mainly because long trips can be tough to endure and cutting down on the comfort factors can be all the more tough. Apart from this, travellers can also opt for combined reservations as making a flight plus hotel booking in a single transaction. Rather than paying for both separately, it is advised to do both in one transaction. Besides reducing heckles, this aspect also cuts down on the expenses by a significant margin.

When travelling on short-haul journeys like Manchester to London flights it is advisable to flight plus hotel booking which not only saves our money but saves lot of time to find proper hotels to stay after reaching the destination.

Cheap Flights Info, Cheap Fare Airline, Low Cost Flights: Cheap Flight: Cheap Flight 4u I love flying, I love the view that you get when you're up there in the sky and I love the sinking feeling you get ...

Cheap Flight

www.cheap-flight-4u.com/
Cheap Flight 4u
I love flying, I love the view that you get when you're up there in the sky and I love the sinking feeling you get in your tummy when the plane is taking off from the runway, I love chewing gum to stop my ears from blocking, I love the entire experience. Unfortunately, I am not a frequent flyer and as embarrassing as this is, my last minutes flight was in 2008. I had just finished matric, all bright eyed and bushy tailed at this big world that lay ahead of me. In South Africa it is a tradition among the youngsters that you go off for a few weeks to a new town and completely let loose. These weeks of partying and creating memories is known as Matric Rage. My then boyfriend was in Ballito, Durban celebrating with his friends while I stayed home. I had finished a year earlier than I should have meaning that all of my friends were only entering the last year of their high school careers when I had already finished mine. I chose not to go off on Matric Rage because it didn't really feel right to celebrate without them. However, on a sunny day as I lay next to the pool with my book in hand and the music soothing my ears, this crazy thought popped into my head, fuelled by missing my then-partner that I should go to Durban, and what faster way than by plane! I followed through with this crazy thought and made the decision the evening before, chatted to my mum and called up my dad to try and get funding for my little adventure, after all what are parents for (kidding mum and dad) Luckily my pleas were met with kind eyes and soft hearts, and my dad happened to have a friend with some connections so I was able to get a business class ticket of cheap flights for a discounted price. The East London Airport is a very small one and is unfortunately not on the main 'flying routes'. At the time we did not have much of a variety in terms of airlines and because it was such a spontaneous decision on my part, I never chose the airline because of its cost or what perks you got on the flight. I chose the airline that would get me there faster than I could say 'Take me to Durban' and the one that would be leaving soonest. Of course today our little East London Airport has grown a bit, thanks to the World Cup in 2010 and we are now getting more last minutes flights and have more of a variety when choosing an airline. As one would say, variety is the spice of life! I left in the morning the following day with a suitcase too big, eyes too wide, growing butterflies in my tummy and an excitement I couldn't contain. It was my first time flying on my own and I had no idea what to expect. I boarded from East London and found my seat. The plane was a lot smaller than any other plane I had been on before. I managed to secure myself a window seat right behind the wing – I am told this is one of the best seats, with no one else sitting next to me – bliss. I had an entire row to myself to stretch out and truly enjoy my flight, how many people can say they've had that? Not many I'm sure. The plane was virtually empty, with only business men and women flying to or from meetings, or whatever it was that had them catching this early flight.

It was a perfect morning with the sky as clear as crystal, inviting me to enjoy the views that lay below me and had my eyes and heart eating it up. I hadn't been to Natal since we had lived there many, many moons ago. It was so wonderful to go back, even if it wasn't to where I used to live. The flight was truly great. I don't have much to compare it to unfortunately, but for me it was just wonderful. It was short and comfortable, the people were friendly but kept to themselves; each of us caught up in our own thoughts and the beauty that lay beneath us. The cabin crew were easy-going and made you felt comfortable without making too much of a fuss and making sure not to bother you too many times. The captain's voice sounded like that of every other pilot. I often wonder if they go for voice-overs before getting the job, or if they go for vocal training to ensure that they all sound as cool, calm and collected as all the other 'drivers of the sky'. Honestly, if having to choose a pilot on his voice alone, I think I would fail terribly. One thing I have realised from travelling and living in different cities is that you could never find people like those in East London and Durban anywhere else, they are of the friendliest bunch, always with a warm smile and a cheerful hello. We were each handed a meal, I remember this because I was so surprised by the contents – bless my innocence! We received a delicious burger, sweets, yoghurt, fruit and a juice. This was absolutely perfect for me because with all the nerves and excitement going on before the flight, I don't remember eating breakfast. We landed in Durban not long after that. I had no idea where to go or how to get out of there, so I followed the crowd and hoped that they would lead me to the pickup area. Obviously you are not allowed to have your phone on during the flight, so I was holding thumbs that my then-boyfriend, let's call him Bob had arrived on time and was waiting for me. Thank goodness he was! We said our hellos and jumped in the car and headed off on the road that would lead us to the beach side cottage that he was staying in. When we finally arrived, I was greeted by a house full of unkempt men, with a house that was even more unkempt – clearly there were no women staying there! The house in general was beautiful and situated in a prime spot. It had a lovely garden that rolled down a cliff and into the beach which was covered by rocks and boulders and met with the crashing waves of the warm Durban Ocean. The week that I was there was spent partying through the nights, dancing until we couldn't 'boogie no more' and generally just losing ourselves in the anonymity you are granted within a new town, with new hotspots to attend every night. Soaking up the hot Durban sun was a daily blessing. The long summer days were what I craved most. Lazing around in the sun, playing volleyball and touch rugby, eyeing out any handsome blokes that strolled past us, dipping into the warmth of the sea, feeling the salt and sand stick to your drying body – there are few things better than a well spent summer's day! We had a ball and the week seemed to go by in the blink of an eye. I never flew back to East London, instead I travelled back down in the car with *Bob, singing the songs that burst through the speakers and taking in the scenery that ran by. It was all such an incredible experience, unfortunately I never took photos of the flight or of my spontaneous holiday mostly because I was too caught up in the experience and also because not even in my wildest dreams did I think I would end up writing about it. The flight was amazing and I'd definitely rate it a 4 out of 5 – nothing is ever perfect so I don't feel it would be fair to mark it 5, but it was pretty darn close! If there is one thing I could recommend to people, it would be to take that brave step and do something spontaneous, jump on a last minute flight and have the holiday of a life time – you will never regret it.
